Note: I updated these photos today (2/28/24) to include six of Peter Cooley's photos. He captured the north side and the back side. Thank you Peter!

Note...just a dummy used in training, not a real person in this suit
Amazing pictures. It went so fast! Were chemicals involved? It's an emotional experience, even from afar. Seeing the pictures makes it more real. Thank you for all you are doing to document this story. Your work is inspiring!
Thank you for sharing this. I imagine it was emotional but knowing it served another purpose of training for our firefighters must have been rewarding. I know I told you that's something I was considering with my childhood home. I haven't talked about it with my Mom yet. You and I should talk sometime about the process.
Thank you Jude. I really appreciate you following this and your impressions. Love you!
You did such a great job documenting all aspects this momentous occasion. It was a reminder of how much we should appreciate our firefighters and the tremendous power of a fire. I found it interesting to see the structure used to hold water for the hoses, in lieu of a fire hydrant. Hopefully a new house will take the place of the old, making new memories, and still respecting the people who came before.
